History

There are moments that you will remember for the rest of your life. Man landing on the moon. The fall of the Berlin Wall. 9/11. Last night was one of those nights. It has been said that the American people can always be counted on to do the right thing - once they have exhausted every possible alternative. After 8 of the Bush tragic comedy, the American people voted for change. The first black President. The first post-baby boomer President. Even as I watched it unfold - and unfold quickly - I knew that I was witnessing history. It - and a glass of 12-year-old scotch - gave me chills.
